A journalism course in the College of Arts & Sciences discussing ethical situations, and legal statutes and cases in media, publishing, and advertising stemming from the First, Sixth, and Fourteenth Amendments. The course covers copyright, fair use, misappropriation, libel, newsgathering, codes of ethics,privacy, emotional distress, obscenity, pornography, indecency, violence, shield laws, patent law, and trademark law.

Journalistic Inquiry, New York University, Spring 2014

A journalism course in the College of Arts & Sciences in reporting methods and practices for all mediums. Coursework included writing ledes, obituaries, sidebars, features, crime pieces, Q&A, and profiles; story producing; understanding press releases; financial journalism; social media; photo galleries; and creating a multimedia pieces on Adobe Premiere.

Investigating Journalism, New York University, Fall 2013

A journalism course in the College of Arts & Sciences analyzing and practicing journalistic approaches. Coursework included producing a media criticism of a group in modern American news.

Writing for Media & Communications, New York University, Fall 2012

A course in the Media Studies program at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies focusing on writing for business, public relations, film, journalism, and the web.
